Long before Covid 19 was ‘a thing’ and most people thought that' furlough' was something that farmers did to their fields, D-tox was already using an online system that streamlined the entire process of electronic time stamping, hands free job sign offs, photographic evidence, and remote accessing. – this has been achieved by our implementation of a system called “BigChange”

Throughout Covid. BigChange enabled us to continue providing portable toilets, emptying septic tanks, and servicing welfare facilities because the entire process could be done without the need for face-to-face contact.

How can the process be contactless?

If you are on site and want to be present for the siting of your toilets or oversee your service clean etc this isn’t a problem, but when it comes to signing off paperwork we can simply send you via email  

  • photographic evidence of the location we have been to,  
  • which toilets we have visited (by taking images of their ID tags) and  
  • show photos of the areas that have been cleaned and sanitised.  

Our drivers sign to say this work has been completed and this is recorded on our system. An electronic proof of job completion is then  automatically emailed to you.

If you are unsure when we last visited and need to check, we can tell you the day, date, and time this tool place, and provide the evidence of the work been carried out.  

  • Each job is time tracked so we know where our drivers are at any time.  
  • We keep notes on what work was carried out such as a non potable water delivery and  
  • any extra details that may need to be recorded so such as site contacts, site accessibility, times when sites will not be available, whether extra pipework is needed (for emptying) and many other details.  

No paper – which is a bonus.

Our electronic process also means no paper, which on a busy and muddy construction site is very convenient. The knock-on effect of this is:

  • We can provide Proof of Delivery (POD), or proof of service straight to your inbox  
  • Along with digital time stamped images from your site.  
  • You will receive an automated job confirmation as soon as the work is completed so you can be sure not only that your job has been completed but finished to a high standard.

Your staff do not have to come into contact with our drivers if this is not necessary. (Always a bonus when you’re short on time and need to be in 3 places at once).

Our drivers, who often do the same routes, so will get to know your site, and simply get on with the job in hand and leave, causing as little inconvenience to your conveniences as possible!

Customer portals allow easy access to information.

Through your customer portal on Bigchange, you can see the history of all jobs you have had with us, any active jobs, and any future jobs you have with us.

Using BigChange allows us to allocate jobs, easily between available driver and vehicles so we can keep out routes efficient and speeds up the entire process for you and our other customers.
