Service Driver Job description

D-tox are a leading supplier of portable toilets and other products across the Midlands and beyond. Due to recent increases in demand we are looking to recruit new service drivers to clean and maintain our portable toilets. Our service drivers are responsible for driving around set routes on a weekly basis and emptying, cleaning and maintaining portable toilets. The majority of the job involves driving but there is also the more physical aspect of maintaining the toilets to consider so a decent level of physical fitness is required. All routes are pre planned so drivers are not expected to route their own jobs but we do require drivers who can navigate their way successfully around different areas. You will be supported by a transport manager but the majority of the time you will be on your own and having to motivate yourself. The successful candidates will possess the following attributes.

- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexible Attitude to work times and overtime hours
- Customer Focused Attitude
- Organised
- Positive Attitude/Self Motivated
- Good Navigational Skills
- Considerate/Careful driving skills

The job is a minimum of 40 hours per week but we often have increased routes that mean drivers are working up to 48 hours. Experience is not necessary although previous multi drop driving experience would be looked on favourably. We will provide the successful candidates with full on the job training before they start working unaccompanied. Full uniform and PPE is provided.
