D-tox was on hand at the Sedgley Charity Beer Festival, over the weekend of 22-23 September, ensuring that thirsty punters had somewhere to spend a penny.
The Beer Festival has become a fundraising fixture in the village calendar. This year the festival was bigger than ever with 36 beers, 10 ciders, lots of wine and plenty of live music to tempt drinkers and non-drinkers like. The increasing popularity of the festival (a whopping 5,000 drinks were served in 2017) meant that the exiting toilet facilities at the site weren't going to cope.
The D-tox charity toilet programme was designed for just this type of event and we were delighted to make a number of portable loos available for the duration.
We found ourselves needing additional toilets, so we were delighted when local company D-tox from Aldridge, stepped in to help.
David Baugh, Festival Organiser
The festival has raised thousands of pounds for good causes. The hosts,1st Sedgley Scout Group, have used their share of proceedings on building improvements and a logged cabin and money has also been given to Children in Need and a range of local charities.
It’s excellent that
D-tox has stepped forward to help local charities. A fine demonstration how
companies should play their part in the local community and good causes. Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Dave Tyler
